1. Introduction
  2. Getting Started

Testkit is a no-code testing tool that lets you create and run tests effortlessly. It also takes care of your broken and flaky tests with artificial intelligence. You can sign up for a free 14-day trial, no credit card required!

Quick Start

1. Install the Testkit Recorder

Start by installing the Testkit Recorder browser extension. It’s currently only available for chrome, but we’re working on adding support for other major browsers as well.

Download on Chrome Web Store

2. Pin the extension and login

Don’t forget to pin the extension to your browser toolbar. You’ll need it to quickly start and stop recording your tests.

Click on the extension icon and you will be prompted to log in with Testkit, just click on the sign in button and you will be automatically logged in.

3. Record a test

Go to the website you want to test and start recording your test by clicking on the extension icon, giving your test a name and clicking on the record button. After that, just go through a flow on the website you want to test and the extension will record all the steps you take.

4. Run your test

When you’re finished, click on the extension icon again and click on “Finish Recording” and open the Testkit dashboard.

Create a test suite and add the test case that you’ve just recorded and click on “Run test suite” to run your test suite.
